Stepping Stones, a nonprofit organization that offers transitional housing and supportive services to youth ages 16 to 20 who are experiencing homelessness, is seeking in-kind donations of items to support its residents.

In the four years Alysia Fornal has been with Stepping Stones, the nonprofit has always had a waiting list.
Over the past six months, an average of 10 local youth have been eligible and ready to move into the transitional housing program as soon as a space opens for them. These 16- to 20-year-olds are living in emergency shelters, crashing on friendsí couches or living on the street.
